Sarah became enthralled by acting at an early age even while attending prep school. After her drama teacher saw her walking across his lawn in an effort not to be late for the field hockey game, he advised she to not practice and become part of the cast of Richard III and thus began her fascination with acting. Sarah took the decision to follow her love for this craft and learn more by majoring in English and theatre at Hamilton College studying theatre abroad in London as well as Oxford in her junior year. After graduating, she graduated as a with the title magna cum laude, she Hamilton then went on to pursue a degree in Yale Drama school. The parents of both talented painter and English teacher praised her passion to study the arts. Her talent as well as the instruction she received paid off.
