Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actress who works on TV and in films is most well-known for her roles in films like Rush and Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. She was the sole child from Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra entered the showbiz world early and was playing lead roles in different TV dramas before she reached the age of 16. Following her highly acclaimed performance in the TV film Der Tunnel, Alexandra went onto play more notable parts, including Adolf Hitler's secretary, Traudljunge, as well as the secretary of Adolf Hitler in Downfall. This film won an Oscar and was a critical as well as commercial great success. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex as well as The Reader are also Oscar-nominated films featuring the beautiful diva. Through the years, Alexandra has worked in several notable international and national projects. This includes the British biographical Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time and the French historical mini-series Napoleon as well as other miniseries. In addition, she has been a juror at the Transylvania International Film Festival as and The Cannes Film Festival.
